Press Problems Cause Color Cuts

This week you will find The Vermont Journal a little scattered this week. The company, that prints our paper in Lebanon, NH, had a problem with their presses. They broke on Monday, April 29. Unable to remedy the problem, they had to cut many of our color pages to black and white, leaving us no alternative than to separate the Cotillion pages to keep them in color; to move all color ads to color pages and all black and white ads to black and white pages. We had to cut some articles and save others until next week. We apologize for the inconvenience this may cause.

Art Night at CAES was a Huge Success

This & That

Terrorism may have been a word when I was a child, but if it was, I was shielded from it. Actually I'm not sure when I was introduced to this evil, presently in our world. Patriotism was a part of my childhood. I performed a patriotic act every day in school when I recited the" Pledge of Allegiance" when the school day began. It was a time-honored tradition and it felt comfortable.
